Engine's problem

From reading all the posts, I have to wonder why would this only affect P5 with Tiptronic, not the plain-jane automatic if it is because of low engine idle. Another question is does the old automatic have "safe mode?" hmm...

In a way the auto does have a "safe" mode if it detects a problem it will sometimes lock itself into third gear only. Someone else here experianced that and I did for some reason when my radio fuse blew. WHY a radio fuse has anything to do with the auto I don't know..it also blew later that day and this time the HVAC controls wouldn't work??? lol

Could have something to do w/the way power is transferred from engine to wheels. May be something additional in the tiptronic tranny that makes the engine do a little more work...

Cann the dealer again today

I think they are so experience about this kind of issue now.
He just said he do not know how to solve this problem because he can not reduce it in the dealers. Then he said same s*** like before . Actually he just want to solve this problem via time - I mean he will get my car back again then give me back in one day and told me no problem and let me wait for it happens next time.
what I am going to do is I will put a camera in the car from now on. When this problem happen again I will take engouth photo to prove it happens. Then I will send one copy to the GM of that dealer and one copy to mazda canada. Maybe I should send a copy to some org. who can help me too.
Would you guy who has same problem do the same thing? maybe we can send the photo together and s*** the mazda's pants.
Anyway I fell bad about this mazda now. I am very like it but this unaccpet problem happened 4 times now.

Doubt if that'll work. What're you going to take pictures of? The CEL light? A picture won't tell them anything about the car. I'd suggest having a video camera that shoots downward so that it not only captures the engine RPM's but also your feet so that they can see how much brake/accel pressure was applied. That's if you're really serious about this though. I'm just gonna wait till it happens again. Then it's the 3rd time.
