engine swap problems on a MP3

Ok my friend recently did an engine swap on his mp3.His mechanic is having problems with cylinder one.The fuel injectors keep on flooding cylinder one.The question is,What could have possibly gone wrong? Has anyone ever heard of this problem feed back would be awesome.

What's been done to it? Has the fuel rail or injector been checked? Where is the motor from? What does the plug look like (besides covered in gasoline) Do you get spark to it?

Need a little more info.

the car is just stock no mods what so ever.Sparkplugs still look new when you take them out cause he recently changed them out.mechanic also said there was spark.The motor is from some place houston,texas dont knwo the name of it .I will try to get that today.I think he bought it used though

Just swap that injector with the #2 injector. If the problem moves to cylinder #2 then that's your bogey.

Agreed. If not, check the wireing.
