well i like to make crazy swaps and i love to see cars perform to their best and it won't with that slow engine its got now and yeah i can slap a turbo on it and get about 300hp but where is the fun and hard work into your car, see what i'm saying, actually two options, 4g63 or sr20 both fun engines that can produce hp and perform

While we're out on the crazy scheme, my original idea was to take the aluminum 5.4L V8 from the Expedition and throw it under the hood of mine...or a 4.6L mustang V8 but that has less torques and less torque=less fun. It actually would fit, a little close, but I have measured and it would fit. With slight modifications mind you but that would be the fastest ******* sleeper 3 ever and holy crap could you imagine the look on people's faces when they see a V8 under the hood and laugh but then hear you start it up...priceless. (and the torque steer! don't forget the torque steer!!)

Anyways, that was the original thought. Then I thought turbo it and that evolved to MS3 engine because a plain turbo kit would yield around 40 or so less peak HP and much less torque than a full out swap.

But the good news is that in CA I've finally realized that I ABSOLUTELY NEED more HP because people that drive here are ******* assholes.

yeah that's what I love , I pop that hood and they see the mitsubishi writing on the valve cover and take that double look and say wait that's not suppose to be there, crazy stuff man, man I might even try to run the numbers and see how much hp would it put down. but i would have alot of people scratching there heads, the only prob I would have is getting the custom axle and drive shaft but i can call sum people, customizing engine mounts, but hey thats what its all about.

Not if you convert the car to RWD like the V8 Focus' that have been built.

or just buy one and leave the exterior alone because everyone thinks mazda's besides the rx-7 are as slow as dog s*** least thats how it is around here

True that, Thats how it is here too.

This state is ran by Honda freaks
