I put another long block in my car and I can't remember where this connector plugs into. Does anybody know where it connects to? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The plug on the wiring harness that it plugs into will be just after the injectors and right before the coils.

just FYI- you incorrectly installed the intake mani gasket. the sticky side is supposed to be on the intake mani side. (the green surrounding the ports=heat activated adhesive)

that way when you replace the intake mani gasket down the road, if ever, you don't have to deal with the PITA of taking the old gasket off the HEAD (rather than the mani, which needs to come off anyway)

So it's going to come out of the right side of the intake manifold?

Thanks for your guys' help.

Yea...that's it. It just comes out very close to the oil dipstick.

Thanks, never knew that. I thought both sides were the same.

its fine, it isnt a big deal... unless you ever have that gasket fail on you... but then you'll just have to kill your back taking the old gasket off the head.

good info exoticracr...that just save him some headache...welcome to the forum..

need more help

There's another connector that I need to find a home for. The plug has a green wire and a white wire. I also have a ground wire but I am pretty sure I know where that goes.

Another question I have is that I have an extra bolt that I think goes somewhere on the j-pipe but I don't know what it's suppose to hold.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

i think that connector goes on the top of the tranny toward the firewall, if u look you will see it under all those wires.

the thing on the j is a bracket that goes from the tranny to the exhaust to minimize stress on the exhaust system.

Is the bracket for the tranny to the exhaust a separate piece?

Anybody have a picture of that bracket for the tranny to the exhaust?

Also, is there any pre-cautions I should take before starting up the motor for the first time?
