about a year ago some guy put together a template you could buy for the unused DIN that had the start button on the left and illuminated "mazdaspeed" to the right of it. Not sure if its still around.

I read that it was $40-45 somewhere..

The S2000 button doesn't light up, but there are 2 aftermarket buttons that do... one of them is on the link I have on the original post here, by PIVOT. I think they offer it in 4 colors also.

Rdshark1 has a nice attachment (among nice other things, from what I see on her site!) on her reply post, I think #7. What a cutie! (spank)

on my cousin's 240... yes you have to....
unless you wanna go the long route and bypass the clutch like the remote starters do.

Yep, the button works just like in a manual S2k. Press the clutch in, turn the key, hit button and...how does it go...vrom, vrom?? hahahahaha...

The old Ignited button was a regular yellow bulb, but the replacement one I got has a super bright LED and geez....lights up the whole interior of the car at night. It's like looking at the sun.
