Engine stalls after restart when warm

last time i tried to get it off i couldn't. do you have any secrets as to how to get to it, without taking the manifold off

There are two T-25 Torx Security Screws holding the solenoid onto the IAC. I got the security torx set from Home Depot for $15. It was in the tool corral back near the scokets. It was a screwdriver bit set. You have to look hard to find it.

Disconnect the plug to the side.
I gave the screws a shot of Seafoam Deep Creep the day before and they came loose with just the ratchet screw driver. I carefully pulled the solenoid and the plunger assembly out. There is an O ring, don't lose that and the other small parts may want to come loose too, so be careful.
I just used a toothbrush and some manifold cleaner and cleaned the carbon off of the end and reinstalled. Runs great now.
