Engine Problems

Well, I finally went out and spent $90 on a OBD2 code reader/clearer because I got tired of disconnecting the battery every day to make the CEL go away. First, I got 2 codes, Misfire detected in Cylinder 1, and Fuel Trim Malfunction (Bank 1). So, I raised the Idle to 1200rpm to get a lil more air and changed the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor, and now I only get 1 code which is Idle air speed failure or something close, I don't remember the exact words. When I turn the back down to 800rpm I get the Misfire and fuel trim codes again, WTF??????
