So i recently installed a Corksport Fmic and hard piping on my car and finished everything up. I started it in the garage and it ran fine. Then i took it out on the road, drove about a block and it shut off. Now, when i start the car, it sputters and wont stay running unless i open the throttle. Smooths out some when i rev up, but cuts out when held at constant RPM. I checked all of the connections and clamps between pipes. Everything looks good. What do I do or what do i check?

Check and make sure you plugged back in all your sensors or check for disconnected pipes........are you running a Bypass Valve or a Blow off Valve? Could be a huge leak.

sounds like u blew off a coupler honestly, recheck ur work and let us know

all the pipes are good and so is the bpv im running.. maybe tonight i can get some pictures up. there is one sensor i also have to check

pull out your maf and check your fillament make sure it didnt break when you took it out for your fmic install

I pulled the MAF sensor. Although im not really sure what im looking for. I can see it still has a filament in it but i dont know if its normal. I cant find a picture of one either. Is is supposed to go all the way from the top to the bottom?

looks like i found the problem. The hose clamp that connects directly to the turbo was just sitting on top of it so it looked connected. The torque must have knocked it loose. Once i put that back on it ran fine. I guess maybe its time for new motor mounts. I'll have to watch it until i get some.

I knew it! not a big deal man, it happens to the best of us

You wouldnt believe all the Subaru Sti that i see get towed into the shop thinking they blew the motor on it, and it turns out the intercooler piping came loose... hahaha

Hey i am new to all this and i was wondering if anyone can help me. I want to install an HKS super suqential blow off valve on my 06 mazdaspeed 6 but i was hearing that my car will run like crap because its suppose to be recirculating and not an atmospheric BOV. is there a blocker i need to put the HKS on there or do i just put the HKS on there and see how it runs? ANYONE? ANY IDEAS WILL BE GOOD THANK YOU
