Engine Light ON

Hello Everyone...yesterday my engine light went on. I changed my oil and air filter. It actually turned off. My dad told me that on his Neon, he can do a diagnostic just by putting the car on, off, on. He gets a flashing light and depending on how many times the light flashes, he can check his manual and can see what is wrong with the car.

Do we have that on our cars (MP3)??

yeah that is a dodge thing. my friend has a omni and he turns off the car and turns it the other way and the light flashes to tell him the code. it's really cool. wish our cars had it

if you have apalm pilot, there is software you can get that can give you codes and the ability to clear them.... but we dont have the dodge thing.

Damn...Great idea though..Just for the hell of it, I asked Canadian Tire how much it would cost to plug their comps on my car to find out what was wrong...they were going to charge me $50...HA!!! Yeah right...

It's all good now..I changed my air filter and the oil..no more engine light...YAY!!! thanks for everything boys!!!
