i called mazda looking for a factory 2.0 liter engine with turbo for my mazdaspeed protege, and they gave me a price of $5655.00. now i'm almost sure there is a better price out there. i've searched alot and have come up empty handed. all i need is the engine ready to drop in with turbo..no piping and no intercooler is needed. any suggestions on where to look? i would also like the engine to be brand new ( not used) or is there another size engine with same power capability as the speed engine and cost less? my engine now is not blown, i just want to have another one for back up, and i will be putting forgred internals in the new motor. any help is greatly appreciated. and your opinion on stock turbo vs t3/t4. all advice and help is welcome.
