Engine bay shave?

Subbing on this... thought it was dead after Sam "left". Rooster i cant wait to see this final project. Might even drive down there and inspect it :)

Wow, the only thing that i would be worried about is that if you don't get one little connection right it could take you FOREVER to find it. BTW nice work the protege engine bay looks horrible.

with the same respect if it came from factory like that it'd take me even longer to find it.

now atleast i know the workings of the wire harness to some extent.

I haven't made much more progress yet, but this weekend will be the days.

My last post was kind of confusing. What i was meaning is From the factory our wiring harness sucks. there is just so much s*** everywhere.

nice! keep us posted.. YOu might want to create your own thread documenting your progress on this task! Also if you do resever at least the first 5 or so post.

very clean. im pretty jealous. if i only had time, money, space...
you should crop that first picture down and put it in your sig. it looks really really good.

rooster, Wat's up with ur Cam sensor why is that bracket on there?

the stock cam sensor has the plug pointing straight up into the air,

I clocked it to point down but the mounting hole then is 180* of the bolt hole..

i still don't have a permanent solution so for now it just the little bracket holding it in.

still some more work to do, i need to clean up all the extra wires i put in myself for guages, lights etc.

I'm also going to be filling some of the holes in the bay, will bondo work?

I'm thining with flex bondo will crack over time, suggestions?
