engine bay clean up ideas

Is this the 1.8 ignition coil I would want for the swap?

Yes, you will also need the wires

..

with the intake manifold clean up would I need to cut and extend wires from the sensors bolted to it or should i have enough if I cut apart the loom.

I was going to relocate my battery but it hides a bit so it's a on the fence decision whether I want to move it to the trunk as well. Also is the a/c fan worth wiring up to the same signal source or should I just remove it.

i cut and extended all the injector wires and a few other ones so i could run the harness under the manifold instead of on top

...

Sweet I'm going to do the 1.8 ignition coil conversion eventually. Has anyone ever used under the windshield wiper tray to hide misc sensors and vacuum lines? Is it possible to relocate the washer fluid tank to the trunk with no problems? I'm removing my rear wiper and plugging it but I still need my front wipers. What could i do with all the lines going over the brake booster, they seem to be harder lines

idk about the washer fluid res, i just ran my line under the fender, and im getting a smaller bottle to go in the fender hole where it usually goes, but it wont stick up into the engine bay. im also trying to work on using a single blade system from the rear of an suv or something for my front windshield, and making sure the motor gues under the rain tray not in the bay how it is from the factory. you can hid and tuck almost anything, just gotta be creative.

The single windshield wiper looks horrible on any car, just saying

If you want to hide your coil packs the easy way just get a valve cover cover like the msp and mp3.

The biggest and most noticeable thing you can do is to relocate the battery to the rear. It takes up a lot of space

...

Im not a fan of the covers, sure it hides alot but it's not the same. I ran mono wiper on my volkswagen gti and I loved it! I prefer single over double. If anyone ever figures out a way to move the wiper motor in the wiper tray on the p5's please post.

Easiest way to hide the coil packs is with the Nology hotwires. I got the MSP kit (different bracket from P5) and then cut the angled part and mounted it to the waterneck. This hides the coils down under the intake hose.

Heres the other thread if anyones interested in the how to.

Heres mine so far. Wipers are gone, wiper motor is gone, relocated diagnosis box behind the battery, washer bottle is gone, A/C broke and has been disconnected just not sure what all needs to be pulled/how to pull it. Still planning on ditching cruise control, relocating IM sensors to the fire wall, and doing something about the coolant overflow reservoir. Has anyone relocated the coolant overflow? If so where to?

ffocused looking good! You should hide your HID ballasts under the bumper. There are nice spots right below each headlight.

Circuit and Spiced MSP have some really nice looking bays! Kudos :)
