Endless Summer - Build Thread

Once the top end was put together and married to the short block it was time for paint. "You can have any color you want, as long as its black"
All credit for painting the long block goes to my father. He loves this kind of stuff so I let him take a stab at it. Turned out amazing after 5 light coats
Then was accessories. Went with semi-gloss on the block, gloss for the oil pan/sandwich plate and flat for everything else. Its hard to get decent pictures in basement but I think it turned out awesome.
Were re-using all the nice OEM gold zinc bolts from the stock motor. I think it will compliment the black theme well. Heres the oil pump all bolted up.

Pretty handy engine mount we had made specifically for the fs. Very nice and you can work on the the rear of the motor.
