Emanage Dyno about time

i'm just gonna echo this sentiment again...

can you control timing?

Yeah, I re-asked and Orangezoom said yes... I guess me quoting InsidiuosMSP and then Orangezoom quoting me makes it hard to follow though.

edit: too late

yes you can control the timing
Without any special circuitry hooked up in between the e-manage and the coils? On fords that what they have to do in order to get the timing control in e-manage otherwise the e-manage fries. They have direct-firing waste spark plug ignition.

I feel bad for my man orangezoom hehe :)

would quad ss coilpacks be a viable option with the emanage? i know on the haltech you just wire each coilpack to the ignition wires according to cylinder number. if this is also true of the e-manage, the coils would be a nonissue. sorry, never worked with an e-manage b4. installing it anyways.

Don't feel bad for me(yes)

Those are some interesting results, I try to stay away from most types of Trickery to sensors but if that works more power to you. Those numbers still seem quite low for the boost. I'd really love to tune someones MSP with the E6X on it and get some dyno numbers.

Hey good to hear from you where you been hiding?

They did get higher #'s but the curve was not great wait till you see the curve the hp is thru the whole range

Plus I am in no hurry I want to do this right. after the air to water I will build the second engine its in the works.

turboge, you wanna work on an msp? lets talk... i've got some plans for the future.
Depends on how far your future is set. I'll be in SoCal for another 3 months, so if you need some help on your MSP just let me know.

I've mainly been away from a lot of forums lately and concentrating on my work and future goals. I think with some more tuning on your car and proper timing curves you will be closer to 240whp on pump gas and 260whp on race gas. I would also bump that fuel down to 11.5:1 to be on a safer high end EGT range. It really sounds like your timing is off though, I'd like to see that dyno sheet.

Okay, everybody I talk to says the o2 modifier/simulator should be placed on the 2nd O2 sensor on OBD II vehicles.

Does anybody have a defenitive answer as to which O2 sensor to replace? I know that the first controls mixture, but these sensors were made to defeat the CEL's you get from running catless exhaust.

If we don't figure up how to hook up the O2 modifier we cant even USE the emanage.
