Eibach Pro Spacers

Thinking of getting the 5mm versions to shift my rx8 offset from 52mm to 47mm. Anyone think ill have problems? I just want to push the tires out a tad.

Was also just thinking of trying the 15mm spacers in the rear putting me at 37mm. I know STRICK did 18x8 with a 35 offset so this should work and give a nice flush staggered look. Let me know what u guys think.

Your car already looks nice..i can't imagine you want to spend money to possibly rub tires in the rear. I do miss the staggered look that i had on my MKIV VW GTI tho...I think the 5mm would be good..15mm is probably pushing it looking at your pic's of the back.

I was thinkin the same thing but they dont have a 10mm version and i think doubling up 2 5mm would be dangerous.

I put an 8mm spacer on my Vw and it brought it out perfect, i was running a 19x8.5 with a 30 e.t without rubbing..but the fenders in the rear allowed for a pretty low offset. post up some pic's when you decide to put them on, I'd like to see the results.

Eibach does, indeed....

BTW, i think i'm going with the 15mm studded units to bump out my stockers. i'll let you know how it works out even though we have different wheels.

ok, only one eibach reseller has these available and i ordered 2 sets tonight

the part i'm talking about is the 15mm spacers with the studs in the spacer....

eibach is unsure if they will be available anymore, and won't know for sure for 8 weeks when their next container comes from germany.

i will let you know how these work out with the stock wheels.

ill be keepin tabs on this...when i get my new tires on my stock wheels, I am wanting to go with spacers to push the wheels out to flush to give it a much more aggressive stance. is 15 mm too large?

i've talked to several people who've run 18X7.5 with a 42 offset.

this works out to exactly 15mm further out from stock, which would be like the stock 18x7 with a 15mm spacer which doesn't rub. now, if the car is lowered and has a camber correction kit in the back, it MIGHT be an issue in the rear, but cars that are simply lowered with a wheel setup that is 15mm further out from stock...no problem.

i believe it would be the same for non-lowered cars as well, but i'm not sure.

i hopefully will have them by the end of the week, but they are coming from cali so maybe not.

soon enough though, i'll report back!

I recently bought a set of 18x7.5 with a 42 offset and im lookin to put the eibach springs on..will it rub with the eibachs? i havent picked up tires yet for the new rims.

shag get a fender roller, and run some of those 10mm eibach spacers. i'd love to see that beautiful car of yours undergo that change, it would look 1000x times better.

well, Eibach didn't have them, but suggested a customer of theirs that might based on previous orders they've sent. i order the spacers from drivewire, but i found out today after some investigating that drivewire placed a drop ship order with eibach for 2 of the exact part numbers i ordered, the day after i ordered them so i had to cancel the order with drivewire as eibach won't be getting them in a minimum of 8 weeks, possibly never.

so i have my guy at eibach contacting germany to see if they are in stock over there, and i might get them air freighted.

this is such a pain! they do have 20mm stateside, but i think 20mm would be too much with the stock wheels and tires w/o rolling the rears...hard to say, i measured and 20mm looks like it might work with my lowering, but i'm not sure so i'm going to investigate the 15mm.

what a drag! stay tuned.
