Eibach Pro-kit installed

I installed my Pro-kit today. Went pretty smoothly, however the top spring seat for the front driver side decided it wanted to come apart, spilling small bearings all over the place. Luckily I was able to find all the bearings, and return it to normal.

So to the driving, I think the car should have come this way, meaning the car stock should have come with this spring rates. Its not harsh, but there is a noticeable difference over stock. Handling was improved, the car doesnt have the floaty nature it had before. I will comment on its handling futher this week, as I haven't had the time to really test the car yet.

The drop is as Eibach advertises. .8 drop in the front .7 drop rear. I would say give or take .2 for each of those measurements. My driver side side a tad bit lower then my passenger side.

Overall I am happy with the purchase, I didnt want a super low set of springs, and I wanted something that was stiffer, and gave me the feel I wanted. I feel these springs had met my expectations. Im excited to see the results at the next autox. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a more aggressive setup using stock shocks.

Here are 2 pics. I will try to get some better angle shots and such later. Tires are 225/40/18 so with stock tires the gap would be less.

These are the MS3 springs. I think the dampers are well suited for the springs. I think the stock springs were too soft. When I removed the springs, I noticed the bump stop on the drivers side was cracked pretty badly. I would have liked to make something to replace it, but i didnt have the time.

AWESOME! I was upset I missed the group buy for these by a few days. However, I'm glad that you posted up some info on them as I'm very curious if they live up to the advert. Looks great to me, nice drop that doesn't look slammed.... just an improved stance.

Please post up some more pictures if you can, some lower angle shots would be helpful :). Let us know how they turn out as the become full broken in. I'll probably order these in a few weeks, but it's good to hear first hand accounts. I'm so jealous.

I couldn't wait any longer, and pulled the trigger ordering myself a set. Only $220 shipped, not as good as the GB but still great price.

Aghhh, can't wait. Hope they are working out for you so far, I'm interested how well they break in.

Sweet, thanks for the write up, cant wait to read your further impressions. I got in on the group buy and am excited for mine to come.

No no, Black is teh fast3r!

Also, when you get a chance, can you post a good side view when they settle? I'm want to see if it makes the car "rake" foward or look saggy in the back.

you people are killing me over here. its all about aero and the slipstream color, ps YS on the Cobb which was supposed to be 1" f 1" r my car has much rake and they are all kinds of broken in. 23 the car looks nicely balanced. Please write about some driving comments when you get comfortable with them. looks and sounds like a wise purchase so far

Just a couple more comments. After a day of good driving here is what i have noticed. Turn in is MUCH better, as well as being able to throttle out of a corner. Im able to get more usable grip out of my tires, where with the stock springs I was squealing. Also when i added a RSB, it helped alittle with the stock springs, now im able to actually tell its there and working. I would also like to comment on the drop. It doesnt look noticeable through the pics I have, sorry I will work on getting better pics. But the drop in the front is noticeable which has made the stance different, in a good way.

I went with the cobb at the time. Im sure some are stiffer then others, but I dont think it may be enough to make a difference.

I think I might stagger the installs so I can tell the difference with each, I did that with my mm, ss, and bushings too, it was interesting.

good idea, I always wondered if those little bushings actually do anything. MY motor mount made shifting 100% better.

That is the way to go its like Christmas every time you purchase, and then install a piece, and then drive around!

Here are some new pics. From up close its hard to tell the difference. But from a further view, you can see the front is dropped giving the car a different stance.
