Well, Summit has backordered my springs AGAIN, almost three months now. Does anyone know any shops that have the following in stock?

2.5" dia 8" free length, 350lb and 450lb
2.5" Helper springs
2.5" spring spacers (go between the helpers and the coil to hold the helpers inline under full droop)

Immediate cash, need these asafp! National Tour is only 4 weeks away.

Thanks for the help. I will take Hypercoils also...

I'm not sure if they are in stock, but http://www.pitstopusa.com lists all of the parts you are looking for. I ordered some springs from them last year and they were shipped out the next day. It might be worth giving them a call.

if you really need these badly and money isn't the issue, I can try source these for you directly from mazdaspeed japan (yes they have a full lineup of ERS springs for race use)

If 7" springs will work I may have a set of 450s in the basement.

Aside from that, ground-control. Thats where I buy all my springs. It also doesnt hurt that they are within a realistic driving distance if I need something *today*, If you know what I mean. They do have zero rate helpers and tenders(of a variety of rates), but they cost as much as the regular springs last time i checked.

EDIT: Checked the old stash, just 500s and 600s unfortunately

Thanks for the info guys, 7" is unfortunately too short, it puts the lower perch right at the very very top of the threaded portion. If I could get a longer threaded portion then I'd go with the 7" springs to give more room.

I'll call some of the sources you listed. Thanks,

Britt

sm76, thanks.

Pitstopusa had everything I needed and they are shipping out first thing tomorrow 2nd day air. The lady who helped me was very knowledgable and made sure to spend the time on the phone with me to ensure that I had everything I needed. I will definetly buy from them agian.

BTW, they beat summits price by a considerble amount.

Thanks again, back to the build

Glad it worked out.
I learned from building the Grassroots $2005 and $2006 Challenge cars that Circle Track racers are even cheaper than road racers so their suppliers have some of the best prices on parts used for both types of racing.

Springs arrived today, great service from a great company. Now if I can get the Mustang finished...

Well, almost worked out. Instead of drop shipping the tender springs and sleeves from Eibach like they were supposed to, they just cancelled them off my order and didn't bother calling and telling me. So I had to re order them and pay for 2nd day air to get them in time to put the car back together. So if you order from them, call and make sure they got it right.
