anyone knwo how to do this? a friend told me to take out the ecu fuse, but i opened up my fuse box and didnt see ecu or anything like it. another person told me to unplug the negative cable from the battery. anyone know how to do this? thanks

Yes, unplug the battery

If you can find a fuse for it it might work, but its just so much easier to disconnect the battery for a few mins.
