ECU possible swap any one?

whats the diff between our ecu and the mp3? cant u just order one from mazda?

i heard from linux that the MP3 ecu's just end up ******* our motors..check with him first before venturing into this..he knows all

Thats not true, the mp3 ecu just has a slight advance in timing over the p5. it is the same exact motor. If people with a p5 run 91or higher octane and a mp3 ecu they will see a small gain in hp. Linux might have been refering to mp3 ecu with boost or NO2 can be harmful.
