hey one of my buddies has some eclipse rims that have some brand new AZENIS 225/50R16 on them

how do you guys think this set up would look on a lowered p5 also i was thinking about painting the eclipse rims black....i have always thought that these rims look super clean on a lowered eclipse so why no for the p5

these are what rims im talking about

why would it need spacers does it not have enough of an offset ....and are u talking about the 225 being too big cuz ive known many of people running those on acuras and eclipses

Ya, this isn't an acura or mitsubishi tho. 225 is pretty wide. I have 215's and it's tight...

Make this more simple: you don't need 225's... What Protege you have? 225's are wayy overkill unless you're pushing ~150 hp WHP.

They should fit and actually look pretty good...I took them off my bros Eclipse and drove with his for a week while he had mine...never did rub, but I can't remember what size tires he had either...

s***, you didn't say you were getting them for free... lol Well then you will most likely get some rubbing issues, but rock them out! (headbang)

so you have 215/55 or 60

In my sig, but 215/45/17...

Also just to note, your gass mileage will suffer a little bit form the wider tires.

yeah today after work im going to see how they fit and look....and my gas mileage is at like 21 average haha so im already screwed...

how do you think some 215/55/16 would do??

I think 215/55/16 might be a little tall...you'll most likely get some sidewall flex, negating the handling advantage of a wider contact patch. I'm running 215/40/16 on stockers and it looks a little small...I would prefer 215/45s or 50s, but there aren't a lot of tires in those sizes.
