Ebay short shifters

ok I have owned 2 different B&M knockoffs, one for my eclipse and now one for my evo. They work just as well if not better then the B&M counterparts and you get a shift knob for about 1/4 of the price. I love mine and I would reccomend them to anyone. Mine cost me $32 including shipping and it came with a CW knob.
Ok soo I could not wait. It actually only took an hour and that included 2 tries of shimming down the heat shield.
Here are the pics.. Feel is good, I have driven a protege with the B&M and it feels the same... I am happy with it... especially considering I got a weighted shift knob and all for 45$ shipped.

Just ordered a jspec one off ebay, was about $40 total.... also ordered the kartboy brushings too, can't wait to put it all together 
After having it in the car for a few days of driving... (car sits on the weekends alot) I have notice the shifter rattling very very slightly. If you pull up on the handle it stops. I will probably take the console out again, and drop a little grease in there see if that helps.

Did you install KB brushings too? I've read some posts about them making short shifters rattle because they are alot stiffer. How bad does it rattle?

Hi they will only make the shifter rattle if the shifter is not lubed properly.i cant say for the other shifters but the ones we produce have the same diameter ball. if its a little smaller then you will get some vibrations. you might try some thicker grease to try and fix it

yeah this shifter is like the b&m it came with a base and everything. I think it just needs some grease. Now I also was trying to insuate that the quality is not the same. I believe for me its acceptable but for someone trying to get "the best out of their car... look elsewhere besides EBay. The vendors here would not have the reputations they have if the product did not deserve it. Afterall this is the internet, the place for everyone to come and b****... so if its good, it must be worth it.
