i was bored and found a new hood for the protege for cheap so i figured i would share

I dont have a link but I saw an OEM cf hood for $99.

ya i was bored at work so i went throught like 35 pages of stuff for the protege.... the ones for 99 dollars are all b-series hoods with blemishes and then they charge like 150 for shipping.......

Those B grade cf hoods ain't a bad idea if you going to paint over the cf hood anyways. Plus you gained from the weight savings.

true ......... i just figured i have not seen this hood b4 and a c/f evo hood for 200 bucks is pretty damn cheap..........

I got that hood from that dealer. I paid $414 which include shipping and insurance,but i have to pay more shipping casue i'm in alaska. I"M still waiting for the hood to come in my house, right now the hood is in seattle.

well i think it been a 3-5 weeks since i'm waiting, but i know its' coming thursday because i have a phone call about the hood, well for also the reason why i had to wait more because the conway return the cf hood to him so he had to reship with a different company,

I think getting a CF hood, and not leaving some of it exposed for show is kinda dumb, as really, unless the whole car is CF, the wiehgt savings are minimal, and not really worht it unless it's for the bling factor.

sorry i can't post up pic,i don't have a camera. but the hood came in good shape, there only very little scratch from shipping, nothing really big. the hood cf hood looks just like the picture but there no grill that came with it.

I'm going to let a shop install the hood for me, the reason why i don't want to drill holes for the windshield wiper water things. (rofl)
no the grill didn't come with the hood. the guy i for it from he was really nice about shipping and answer my question. i just wish shipping would cost the same to alaska.

well the cf hood is installed now, the hood doesn't have a perfect fit, the right side is slighty higher than the left side, it's not enough to notice right away. i'll see if i can take pics of the car. My brother just got a sony camera so i'll see if i can borrow it for a while/

yeah take pics.... it might have gotten war[ed during shippment and may settle in to fit good
