im not exactly sure where to post this, so if its in the wrong place. mods feel free to move. (lol2) so my friend has an Ipod touch. and he bought the dynolicious for it for s**** and giggles. well today we took her for a ride and im not sure how accurate these are but it seems pretty damn close. did two runs. first run was 272whp max mph was 105.35mph the 1/4mile was 14.21s @ 105.34mph 0-60 6.1s. i spun the hell out of first and second pretty badly

second run-

265whp. 1/4mile was 13.87secs @108.63mph. 0-60- 5.72sec.

im sure it could have been some better numbers... but i wasnt taking it too seriously. let me know what you guys think? and for those who have used this before. chime in.

btw- mods are Injen CAI. TRZ MM. hks bov. (turbo inlt on the way) soo ill make some more runs after thats installed. see if there is a difference.

those numbers are high for your mods, im not sure if youll get better numbers on a real dyno or not. cool stuff though

I got it too and idk how but its able to get the MPH right on. I'm gona compare it to my dashhawks numbers sometime soon.

How did you have it mounted or held?

yup. my thoughts also. i think even with turbo exhaust which is also going on soon. it might be in that range. everywhere ive read up on the dynolicious they said they are supossed to be pretty accurate. i just find it hard to believe...

yeah, it was also dead on mph wise. it was in my cup holder i wedged it in there so it wouldnt move with some coths. (ghetto) :p

I doubt you'd trap that high on a real certified 1/4 track. If you done these runs on the street it pretty much takes all creditability out of the equation. The times are actually achievable but I highly doubt the trap speed. Just go to a 1/4 and find out for sure.

yeah, i dont plan on going to the track with this car. i dont beat on it much. and im not into racing so i dont see a point really. its all just numbers in the end, i dont care to really know.... i figured screw it. 14 bucks why not? i was surprised how accurate it was one the mph. so who knows?

jeeeze buzz kill (sick)

My Cobb AP dyno meter showed 328hp and 372 lb/ft. seems way off for SRI + TBE and a tune.

Dynolicious relies entirely on accurate weight of the car. So if you typed in the curb weight without adding the weight of you and your friend then thats why you are running a bit off.

Not saying its super accurate as it is but its not bad, and has been tested to be more accurate than the g-tech.

back in my street racing days I had one of those g-tech's, i think it's sitting in my garage :)

nope just the curb weight. it could be close. but i dont see 272 with pretty much just an intake. i have looked up numerous things on the dynolicious and its supossed to be about as accurate as any average dyno. but its just hard to believe that and Ipod or an Itouch can pump out accurate staats on a car haha.

pics?
and yes like some said... it's as accurate as it can be if you put in the correct weight of the car with all the junks inside... i do know one thing.... the heavier you make the car in the setting the higher HP numbers you will get

here's one of my runs... yah yah.. ppl say i made the car too heavy... and my 60mph time sucks...
well my excuse is... check out my mod list to see how much junks i have in my car to justify the weight... and for my 0-60 times sucks because i was going uphill coming from a complete stop turning right onto the highway... also im running 19" rims.

and another run i did with different settings... i lightend the car 500lbs plus i changed the drivetrain loss to 0 and this is from a dead stop on a pretty flat surface at sea level... although the numbers aren't that great... i didn't totally launch it from the start... very smooth take off... and if your wondering why the 1/4mile time is high it's because i let off the gas right before i reached the 1/4mile mark... i was coming up to some oncoming traffic and just to be safe i let off the gas and quickly slowed down... i have yet to fully hold the gas pass the 1/4mile mark

i think the dynolicious is a nifty tool.. even the the accuracy is questionable... it is a great tool to get base numbers and compare your own charts when you add mods to see how much you gained.

nah no pics. just deleted the car and runs after we did it haha. i wasnt too concerned. it was fun making the runs tho :p

Yeah I put my weight at 3550 lbs. I wasint sure what the acutal curb weight was so I just upped it 200 lbs. I only weigh 125 tho so maybe that why the numbers are high haha.

Whats that? My AP dont have that, at least I havent figured out how to get to it if it does??

Did you get the latest frimware update from cobbforums.com/maps?
If so, while the AP is plugged into your car go to the performace setion an dyno should be at the bottom.
