Went to NHRA Sport Compact in Ennis, TX and got dyno'd free. Baseline Run 151.8 hp 155.1 Tq. I'll try to scan the dyno sheet later tonight. Off to day 2 at the track. Just hope the rain clears up.

I live in florida, and I had my car dyno'd on a dyno jet last week with 2500 miles on the clock and bone stock. I got 136 whp and 151 wtq, it was 90 deg in the dyno room but i had 3 fans blowing on the intercooler. I was a little dissapointed, since all the magazines I read say 146-150 whp. The A/f reading went to 8.5:1 between 4k and 5.5k rpm and then came back up to 10.5:1 from 5.5K to redline.

I thought that maybe the guy running the dyno screwed up on the correction factors, but I was wrong. Two SRT-4s dyno'd after me and both put down 213whp and 240wtq stock, which is about right. There were 5 Spec v (my old crew) rich with bolt-on products, they dyno'd between 160-169whp and 168-173wtq just like they always do.

Has anyone else dyno'd this low? I do not have a boost gauge yet, but I think that my car is one of those that is runnig 4 PSI. :(

i also have a hks type 1 with the injen intake and i get a time of 15.6?????
1. a turbo timer won't make you faster
2. et can be affected by many things, weather, elevation, etc...
3. what were your 60' times? magazines were probably 2.0-2.1

the torque numbers seem right, wonder why the HP is so low? tell us if you find out.

i agree. also what rpm were these numbers at? maybe for some reason you have a boost leak or something at high rpm's and the motor just dies off. a boost gauge would definately help out, or you could pressure test your turbo system if you suspect a boost leak, if you want to know how to make one let me know.

well i dunno maybe i got a good engine or i broke it in right. i changed my oil at 500. drove it gently till 1500 miles got hard on it some for a few hundred miles and then drove it normal from then on out and changed the oil and filter at 3000. i dynoed mine with no fan blowing on it in some hot weather ask pirana he was there. tonight me and tx speed demon got on it and he says mines faster than his so i dunno. with my 15.1 time it was fully stock maybe ur not getting off the line good or not staying in gear long enough. i know i ran a 15.12 with stock air box and a 15.22 with an hks mega flow filter. also the boost took longer with the filter i compared 2nd gear pulls with a black msp the stock air box would spool faster than with the filter on. reason is prob cuz its letting more air in but its still clogged up at the exhaust end. so its taking longer for spool up.
