why the hell are we still awake?

I've never been on a dyno so I have a couple questions. are you allowed to tune in between pulls or do they do the 2 pulls right away and then you can tune. I'm asking because I wanted to get my 2 pulls as is then install the 3" DP do a pull then tune for the 3" DP and do another pull. or an I better off doing it another way???

im pretty sure u can tune in between but not sure about installing actual parts. they might have some insurance policys about that like...u losing a finger or the car falling on you while working on it on there property...thats what i would guess.

Even so-- the day should last long enough that he could definitely leave their property, install and come back.

It would save time to just do it there though. Esp when you factor in cooling of the parts time

I guess we could use a small youthful hand to get to those tight spaces!!!

LOL thanks for the offer... I really wonder how long it would take to get that b**** off and swapped

It should take about three hours to do the swap doing it there would be ideal. You don't need a rack just a couple jack stands and drop it all out the bottom. Air would help a ton but not necessary. You'll need a turbo oulet gasket copper crush washers for the coolant lines and some fresh antifreeze because the radiators gotta go. But that should do it. And a set of turbo outlet studs!

Radiators gotta go??? when I pulled the whole mani, turbo and "s" pipe when I blew the mani to turbo gasket, and those nuts vanished I didn't have to pull the radiator. I just carefully lifted it all as one unit up the top. then again that process took me a good 9 hours. but I had no clue what the **** I was doing. I expect that same process to go much smoother this time around.
air tools would be ideal.
But however you guys think it should be done we'll do it that way!!! I've only done this process once compared to the many you guys have done.

BTW it was great seeing you today Bill I really appreciate your help.

Hey Bill I'm going to talk to my DP guy maybe he'll send an extra one for you to try out and compare vs. the corksport.

That would definately be intresting. At least then we would be able to see if it makes a difference versus the corksport. Yeah pulling the radiator only takes about 10 minutes extra and it gives you all the room in the world. I did my mani and slope swap in about 3 hours because I pulled the radiator or else I would have been fighting it the whole time.

James can't wait till you get the new bov should help a ton. We still may have to make a boost leak detector just incase it a bad core or something. I still can't believe your spiking 6 and settling at about 4lbs of boost.

New BOV arrived I'm trying to get it in now.... So we will know soon. You have PM
