Dyno day outcome?

I totally agree, with that motor and that pretty ass mani, it should put some damn nice numbers down.

(on the video)

Did anybody notice how the turbo on pdhaudio83 MP3 took off once it got spooled. It was quite a difference from all the other turbo cars

Sweet vid, I will get mine edited and try to get it posted up. Since you got most of the runs covered, I'll just go ahead and throw one together of all the walking around checking out the different cars that were parked. I also have some footage of the runs that were done on friday night.

That was the slipping clutch more than anything.

I'm like 1/3 done with the vid. pretty good so far. you guys should have dynoed the fork lift. lol

it was just the dyno messing up.

i think last time it goofed and said someone had 700wtq. lol

I kind of wish I would have put mine on the dyno now. :( Oh well... I adjusted my fuel map today at the 3500 RPM range. I am right around 12 A/F ratio now (at least here in California). I also have a s*** load of luggage in there, but I am still able to pull really nice up and over mountains. :D

definitely something I wish I could have attended. I took phone calls all this weekend, and had to go in today to a stupid ops meeting. No way I could have made it if the car was done... conspiracies everywhere.

Funny how the vid is all about the machines, people just happened to be there...

FEAR my massive numbers!!!

yeah. its 8:1 compression, with a few mods that don't amount to much, but I do think the gasket matching of the intake mani helped a bit.

look how rediculously flat the TQ curve is, and notice the CRAZY AF's... I need that turbo on.... lol

*edit* one more thing, this was with 86 octane piss gas and tired plugs. but with 8:1 I can run just about whatever I want. the real point was to get the baseline for when I rip it up.

Woo hoo 2.6 KB/SEC on dial up to down load this :D I'll view it at somebodies elses house. This would take several hours at that rate.

Any way we had a blast seing all the MAzdas all together.

So who gets the hars luck award?

hahahaha I hate being cheap and having dial up. 3 hours to load. Dad-gum I'm a redneck with slow ass dial up. love the bike crash at the end. Hey Pat's clutch held up better then the RX7's clutch that wasn't on video.

werd.

my car will be back when the clutch DOESNT slip and my valves are good

sorry if you already answered this somewhere else, but have you guys determined the cause of the valve issue? What exactly went wrong?

it was a foreign object of some sort. (atleast that is my best guess) something we missed either in the intake mani, or the pipes. or it could of possibly fallen in when we installed the haltech the night before we pulled the engine. it remains to be seen... whatever it was it could possibly be in his resonator right now... we'll find out.

but I did see the valve with my own eye, through the scope, definitely chipped. probably bent as well... and if its like that then the seat is probably trash as well... we'll find out as Beau gets the time to tear it down.

You made it huh?:)

barely... some idiot tried to kill me at the OK/TX border, driving 35MPH on the interstate, with no blinker to exit or flashers... I stood on it and swerved... barely missed him.

dumb redneck in a truck....

thank God for the MP3 handling.

Great videos guys.

Looking forward to seeing more numbers from the guys with problems and the guys that didn't dyno. :D

Can't believe the numbers Pat's car put down even with it all effed up like that. Look's like you are well on your way to that 300whp brotha!
