Anyone here installed dynamat in thier doors or trunk yet?

Dynamat sucks. I put some of their regular crap in my trunk and it didn't do squat. I can't find the research page but someone did a scientific style experiment between many of the available sound deadening manufacturers. RAAMAudio came out as the best bang for the buck. It's much like Dynamat Extreme, but cheaper.

There is a really good write up on NASIOC.com. You put down a layer of mat (double it up behind the door speaker), then a layer of their Ensolite foam. Seal up any openings with metal flashing from Home Depot and self tapping sheet metal screws. Then do another single layer of mat and single layer of foam.

No problem. If you contact the people at RAAMAudio directly, they will work with you to get you what you need. They were very helpful with me, even though I didn't end up buying anything from them. Since my MSP is being used for auto-x, the extra weight would be a bad idea.

Yeah, I just put in some where the Spare used to be in the CX-7 because that area heats up really fast, and in the doors, music sounds so much better, rattles are gone road noise is dramatically reduced and the car no longer gets hot after I have been driving around in the sun and have parked it. Installation was great too, it adheres to nearly everything and is very forgiving if you want to move it a little.

will this help w/ exhaust/header noise? trying to make the cabin a little quiter since i got my rb cat back and header on. i was looking to get the b-quiet extreme.

NOO ASPHALT, Go with RAAMMATT, butyl is the best way to go.

I treated the rear hatch of our P5 with a layer of Raammat BXT and Ensolite and my wife said it helped with the drone from the exhaust (modified MSP axle-back).

That's one reason why I want to put RAMMmat in my trunk (not "truck" like my last post). I might even do doors as well. I took a trip last weekend and the drone at 120KM/h was starting to give me a headache.

I also just got my subwoofer put in the back, and it would be nice to eliminate some of the rattles. Though when it's loud enough... you don't hear ANYTHING but the music.
