My car won't start right after I parked it infront of my house to unload groceries. Everything electrical is working fine but the ignition switch just won't click to start. Retried several times but failed. So I called Mazda Roadside to tow it to the dealership and I have to wait 4 hrs before tow truck arrives.
When the tow truck driver arrives and collected data, he looked inside and instantly looked if the gear is in PARK, and he smiled to me and said "No wonder it won't start, your car is in NEUTRAL. Go ahead and put it in PARK and start the car." Lo and behold, holy neutral Batman, the car started.
And that is my DUH moment of the day.
