isn't it ironic that Halo 2 is coming out around the same time as Half Life 2?

So, I'll need to finish Halo2 before HL2 comes out because once that comes out I won't care about Halo 2

Meantime, I'm still playing Tribes 2, and I must say, it kicks ass. need a good machine though.

You really can't compare or say HL2 and halo 2 is better then the other. I think both games are different and some of the best in their genre. You will also be able to have four different teams playing at the same time on-line. And microsoft didn't delay it because of hype. THey delayed so that it would be able to be hosted on the new Xbox live 2.0 that came out a month ago. It allows for team scores and the ability to make clans. Bungie actually never said "It willl come out on this date" until they anounced the november 9th launch date. Other companies gave guesses and then everyone took those guesses to be real.

In terms of FPS in my opinion HL2 will be better, at least 1 player. But I'm still going to be playing some Halo 2 multiplayer like crazy!

Why wouldn't you compare them? They are both first person shooters. It's not like we are comparing half life 2 to gran tourismo or something.
