Well just got done playing it and def def a great sequel....dual guns is the s***....didnt like the fact when you fire it actually kicks and messes up your aim, but over all great game...ok back to playing...just though I'd let all you unlucky bastards who dont have it yet know what you have to look forward too!!!!!

I posted a halo2 thread in off topic...

It is badass,and i beat it last night. The ending is awesome, yet i want more damnit.

I'll still buy it when it comes out, since i dont have a modded xbox, and have been playing at my friends house.

One thing i did notice that was missing was the ATV and different variations of the warthog bungie has on their website. Id heard rumors a 65% game that was released to magazines to review, and im now wondering if the french version pirated onto the net wasnt this version. It ended rather quickly, and is missing some stuff i thought would be there.
I also read rumors the stolen version was an actual copy from the mass production center. Either way, halo 2 is ******* badass, and will still sell millions of copies.

whoops....eh oh well I guess I'm allowed a few screwups...yea the version that got hacked is teh beta version so its missing some things, but its better than nothing...I too already preordered a legit copy....i didnt pirate it to rob the company of money, i did it b/c im impatient and ms intentionally delayed the release a year to build hype....bastards....

just got my official EB call tonight. They will be opening up on NoV 8th at midnight for sales. I had mine on order for over a year. I got the limited edition coming. I still play Halo 1 every night on XBConnect. So fun. Will they have more teams involved on XBox live... rather then just blue and red?

supposedly you'll be able to customize your team color and team logo. i also understand that bungie took the atv out cause the atv moved too fast for the game. the same went with the sprint feature for yourself.

you can't customize your own logo. bungie took it out because testers were making penisis. you can chose from a bunch of preset ones though (yupnope)

halo 2 is great, but there are still far better 1st person shooters on the PC. Halo2 just happens to be one of the few console 1st person shooters that are any good. And it's co-op play is great.

Funny, years ago most pc games were co-op. I remember doing Duke Nukem, and it's variants using the same engine, over dial up with friends till like 4am on a school night. now, PC co-op is almost non existent.

I've been playing Tribes 2 lately. tons of fun, looks awesome. It's like unreal/tournament with jet packs on and more vehicles to drive, and it actually has a story.

Yes DUKE co-op was badass as well as the other Build engine games: Shadow Warrior, Blood etc.
