Your poor car. Stupid drunk friends.
I am that way about my car(s) too - I park farther out and walk. My hubby always has to find the absolute closest spot to the door that he can.
I think it is worse, though, when it is someone you know that hurts your car. When I had my 95 Civic EX hatchback - it was immaculate - no dings, dents, etc. Well, hubby decides to get a flagpole down that is hanging in the garage over my car. I ask nicely, please pull my car out before you do that and then proceed to walk into the house. Shortly thereafter I hear a very loud, metallic "POIINNG." (eek2) Turn around and walk back into the garage and see hubby holding the flagpole and a lovely round 2-3" dent in my (previously dent-free) hood. (argh) Needless to say, there were some mean words after that. (bicker)
