Driving lowered P5 in winter bad idea? (huh)

i try not to drive my 5 in the snow if i can avoid it...we still have my old car(91 explorer), but now its used as a family vehicle...it fun to go **** around in the snow in...i think i only drove the 5 in the snow after either a day of melting or one time last year i got caught out at friends house after about 2 inches fell...the car did ok on the stockers but i was goin really slow wasnt tryin to **** my car up

I drove a Miata thru 2 NE winters, and it was fine w/Blizzaks. You just have to watch out for turning your air dam into a snow plow. Meaning that if the unplowed streets get to more than 4" deep or so, it'll be a little more difficult to drive in. You'll collect alot of snow in front of your radiator- increasing your potential to over heat as well. Otherwise you should be fine.
