I learned stick on my MSP (braindeadtxrxs said:Someone from indiana, holy s***... Dont tell me you got a MSP as your first car to drive stick with. Subtract one more MSP from the list.
Nothing wrong with that...the MSP is my 3rd car, but my 1st 5spd. I didn't know how to drive stick when I went for a test drive, so the dealer took me for a ride. All I did prior to driving the car myself was 2 separate 2 hour practice sessions on my friend's Civic EX. Once I got the car, I let my dad drive it for about 30 minutes to show me & then I did it for 30 minutes with him in the car. Immediately after that, I drove to a car show on my own. I don't think your comment is justified...the MSP is also a very easy car to learn on. Being good at it is another story however.txrxs said:Someone from indiana, holy s***... WTF ?? hahaProtege52003 said:was at my barber shop today getting my hair cut, reading a wrap up review of an evo in some car mag. they said the clutch and throwout bearing went at 19,850 miles and cost $1250 to get fixed. they said it was not under warranty. they made it sound like they drove the car hard, but did not abuse it. that is an expensive repair for not abusing the clutch with only 20K.
