cool, yeah i wouldn't mind an EBC, i just want to shut up the local SRT 4 boys around here. on my 15.2 run i beat some kid who just bought his. but besides that theygive me s*** unless they're inexperienced and i get a really good launch.

i tried turning it up a little more to like 12 psi but it just spun real bad on street tires. my friend just blew up his rx-7 so he was gonna let me use his slicks but i didnt have the key to the wheels. probably best i didnt use the slicks cause i probably would have broke something

Ok, got my new times last weekend: 14.236 @ 98.90 mph. Hope to be in the 13's before the end of summer!

i tried turning it up a little more to like 12 psi but it just spun real bad on street tires. my friend just blew up his rx-7 so he was gonna let me use his slicks but i didnt have the key to the wheels. probably best i didnt use the slicks cause i probably would have broke something

just dont make the slicks to flat and you should be find.

under the hood; all i got is an CAI, EBC (10 psi), and a FCD. But i also have a 3" turbo back exhaust w/o cats. and i think thats it. oh, and some bad street tires.

high 13's shuiold be attainable with some mounts and tires i would say. watch out with that FCD. a bunch of the popped FSDET's on the forum were using FCD's. i suggest an engine management sys.

stock clutch, stock msp plugs, stock turbo, stock tranny,stock injectors,stock ecu, stock fuel pump, ect...

only mods are: 100 oct, hiboost fmic, short ram intake, mazdaspeed cams, hiboost 2.5 j-pipe to 2.5'' catless exhuast, awr motor mounts, mbc set to 10psi
and holding 10 psi to redline. oh... and i almost forgot this was done on street tires(falken azenis) on 16'' p5 rims.

I'm thinking the 100 octane made some kind of diff....i have pretty much same mods as you minus the catback and rear mount and i ran a 14.1.

At least i know what i need to hit 13's now.

thanks man.....good luck on getting 13's on street tires. it took me a looooooonnnng time to break 13's on street tires. i also kept getting 14.0-14.1 consistantly for 2-3 months straight.
i know with slicks i could of ran a 13.2-13.4 with a trap of 104 i was pulling that day.

ordering my MBC today so i'm expecting like mid to mid-high 14's. also ordering 16's (weight savings) and coilovers (may help with launch). so maybe when that's put in it'll be even better. but i really can't wait until i get my FMIC! (drinks)

Just made it to the track last night. Ran a 15.35 and im completely stock. Even have a pretty bad exhaust leak from the manifold so im pretty happy with it.

I just got my Speed about a week ago, ok guys first three mods needed?
It already has a greddy intercooler and dyno'd at 200 HP and 190 TQ so whats next. also whats the best sounding exhaust for these?
