first time ever at the track for me.

wasn't the best time i think for my car since i was learning, but i enjoyed it once i got the hang of things.

15.1 @ 92.6

mods listed in the sig and run @ 8 psi

I definatly think if i run some more i can hit the 14's

u got something wrong somewhere, thats the times i hit bone stock. maybe im missing something?

it would seem that not all mods are listed in the times.

cant imagine running a stable 13s on stock internals, unless you had some serious engine managment..

240+ passes in the 13's with the stock motor.

Yeah I know, my rear motor mount is destroyed so my launches suffered, it was my first time, and my reaction times blew until about my last run. Is that enough excuses? hehehe jk Ill see if things improve next time after i get my awr mount in the back, and get some more experience.

dont worry about your reaction time it doesnt affect your 1/4 mile, work on your launch techniques and shift points down the track, our stock last shift point blows a nut, im always shifting into 4th at the timing lights

Thanks TX,

I know a big part of it is my launches. I never really launched the car before b/c i tend to baby it. Im sure i'll get better with some practice.

mine has made over 30 hard launch passes on the stock lsd (yes yes i know its going to crap out on me someday, u pay to play.) so it cant be THAT weak, but yes if your afraid of hard launching on the stock lsd u can take it out and have the weak point of the casing welded and it'll be pretty damn strong after that (this is what i plan on doing here shortly). also where are you shifting at?

Yea ! That's where I tend to shift n 2 fourth.

I ran it up to redline in each gear, or atleast the redline marked by our gauges.

how do you, and how hard is it to get the lsd out?

i'll have to find the thread again but theres a seam at where the stock lsd's tend to come apart, all u do is have that seam reinforced and voila, no more breakage. the transmission has to be dropped to the change the lsd out, and thats no small task, but when a quaife lsd is almost $1500 i dont see it to be much of a problem.

i run mine to 7000

Your slowing yourself down. Try dropping shift points to around 6100-6200.

The easy part is removing the transmission, the more difficult task is disassembling and re-assembling.
