Drag racing Ms3 owners att

Ok guys and gals well it a simple but hard question? well has any one put a 2 step or stutter box on the ms3 or ms6. If you did which one did you use. I don't want some to tell me hold it at the rev you want and let go the clutch. It is different everytime i know. the honda and dsm are using them but they are going msd ignition systems. So any real racers out here let's see what you guys have in feedback ok Thanks (drive2)

"It's a 2-step device from MSD for coil-over-plug ignition systems like the Mustang GT. In case you don't know what a two step is, well, it's a 2 level rev limiter and it works like this: You're drag racing and you're at the starting line. You've set the stationary rev limiter to 4000 RPM so when you smash the accelerator pedal to the floor the engine will only go to 4000 RPM and it stays there as long as the pedal is floored and you are not moving. As soon as you release the clutch the system senses that you are now moving and the second preset rev limiter kicks in and your normal 6500 RPM rev limiter becomes activated. It's a great way to have very consistant launches."

I've been wanting to see/get one of these for a long time now. I was hoping Cobb's AP or CPE's standback would have one built in...

Cobb has one for the subies. They also have a rev limiter you can set between shifts so you don't over rev the next gear and spike the turbo.

So basically from start to finish in the quarter you roll up, stop/stage, peg the gas and keep it floored, and hang on while shifting as fast as possible. :)

COBB said it will be available with the Accessport. We are going to be installing a different style one on our speed6 this spring

anti lag is nice because it helps keep the turbo spooling and it does look nice but it will destroy your turbo little by little.

That video is proof that being able to afford an Evolution doesn't mean you're not a retard.

That is literally one of the most unsafe things I've ever seen done in an online video.

well my slicks are on the way, and i have considered a 2 step, but...... i honestly dont think the axles could handle a launch like that. i may be wrong, but until a good upgraded set of axles come to the market, i dont think i will be the one to test it !
