To start out with i know my speakers are not blown, did same thing on old set on the one in same spot and still does it with new ones.

On the passenger front door speaker when its up fairly high and it only happens on certain songs(have a sub 4 the bass so no bass to door speakers) i hear not so much a rattle as something flapping i did have the clear plastic come unglued on part of that door anyone else experience this and/or have a suggestion to fix it it only happens on front passenger door no other door i am not sure if its the plastic or something else rattling

i dynamatted around the speaker and behind it and it helped make it less noticeable but i think the front passenger door in this car just naturally does the rattle when you have a high power system such as mine, as it has done it on 2 separate speaker sets i think their must be something particular in that door that does it

Everything has something called a resonate (sp) frequency, meaning that at a certain frequency everything resonates (vibrates). The doors in our car aren't exactly of the highest quality, so they vibrate a lot. My speakers aren't even mounted in the doors anymore (custom made a pillars) and my doors vibrate still, even with a plethora of sound deadening material applied.

yeah, i knew. thanks for the tip though its in the higher mids on my car i got a 4 channel amp and its cleared up most of it(head unit contributed with lack of power) every now and then a song will do it and i listen to metal so its usually at the upper mid bass of a guitar riff. but now its only like 5 songs out of the 800 or so that do it, and i listen close and the speaker on that door sounds clean and i do not hear it up close but hear it when im sitting normal, its something in the trim so im not gonna worry about it. i had a wreck where the passenger side front door got hit and the latch does not seem to close as tight as the rest, i think that contributes as well. i am going to swing it by the shop that did the work and see if they can snug up the door to the car some and get the latch to close like the others

I definitely didn't have a high power system in my car, but I put some insulation in some of the dead spaces behind the plastic inner door skin.

I'm sure you could find something to do a neater job than I did, but I just used some spray adhesive and some cheap insulation from the hardware store, and stuck some patches to the inside of the door skin in all the doors. Also put some around the spare tire in the back.

It did seem to help to make the car a little more dead acoustically. (not drastic...but some). It also helps to put a little bit of pressure against those plastic panels to prevent them from being able to rattle as much.
