Looking for a great lube for the door hinges, on my 2016 CX-5.
Mazda suggests a general-purpose lithium-based grease. Many people just use a spray-on lithium grease. Have used a variety of over-the-counter greases, this past 40+ years, typically lithium-type.
In my area, winter temps can get below -20ºF. Isn't often, but it's usually a few weeks of 0ºF or thereabouts, occasionally lower. And I haven't been impressed with any typical "lithium" greases.
Am looking at a handful of decent-performing greases capable of excellent performance in low-temps and with water wash-out:
What's your experience, on vehicles, most particularly in fairly cold weather and lots of rain/spray?

- Schaeffer's 238 NLGI #3 -- aluminum base; -30F-375F temp range; excellent resistance to water wash-out.
- TRC 880 Crown & Chassis Extreme Grease -- -40F-310F temp range; excellent resistance to water wash-out.
- Mobil 1 Synthetic Grease -- fully synthetic; lithium thickener; -58F-475F temp range; high resistance to water wash-out, rust corrosion.
