Door Handle Entry

I have a '08 CX-9 today after exiting the vehicle I went to press the rubber dot on the door handle that locks the vehicle and notice that the rubber had come loose and fell out. I locked the vehicle with the smart key remote, Is there a part name for this and is it a costly repair, I prefer to press that rubber dot on the door handle to lock and unlock the vehicle. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I think it is costly to replace. I just replaces mine too. The parts is like $35 something. I cant remember but putting it back on was a little hard. U have to removed the whole door card, the inner panel, door and then small screwa that hold the part on the door.

Oh and you got to be careful on the window too. Unless I removed a bolt that is not supposed to be removed but I doubt it.

Search the forum and you will find instructions on how to replace the button in the door handle. The part is about $35.

I took some crazy glue and applied a tiny amount to the tear, I let it dry and the applied a tiny amount of black touch up paint and it looks look new and works fine and it cost me $2.35 for the crazy glue.
