Dongar dashcam adapter - It's the shizzle

Amazon doesn't have the Doingar adapter for the frameless mirror, ordered directly from Dongar, came in about 3 days. It took longer to get my car keys than it did to install. Attached video is from the Dongar website. Key is to separate, not pull down, on the cover in front of the mirror. Love the Viofo camera form factor

I presume the mirror power is switched, did you just forego the parking feature of the A119?

all homelink mirrors have two power sources.
constant 12v (even if the car is off) and switched 12v.
One can use either depending on the needs.

I'd suggest using foam tapes to avoid rattling noises later.

Hmm does the Premium Plus have a different mirror than preferred? I have a 2022 simple prefered model and I think the mirror is the same.. Its the auto dimming mirror with homelink. I bought this one and it plugged right in. https://www.amazon.com/dp/ (commissions earned)

This product only works with models w/ frameless mirror due to diff in PinOut patterns. One reviewer confirmed it.

Yeah I have a 2022 CX-5 S "preferred" Its a lower S model with some gadgets added on.. and it still had the auto dimming homelink mirror. Evidently in 2019 then went from a mirror with a black plastic border. It will fit. I have a 2022 and it fit fine. Its odd about the 2022 CX-5. It has been out quite a while.. but over and over, I see accessories that are listed to fit up to 2021. I saw this with floor mats, LED bulbs, console trays etc.

I have a '22 Turbo w/ framed mirror (I think only Sig model has frameless one). I am interested in this if it fits mine.
