Domelight?

got my famous LED dome light...result: NOT GOOD AT ALL!
Not powerfull enough

I ordered some "normal" red bulb, 4 Leds Bulds.....

yea same here with the LED.. you might get the same results with the regular bulbs, but who knows

I bought the DE3175 bulbs in blue from Autozone and the color also doesnt show up very well. The map lights on the other hand are nice. I saw Xenon ones available from Crutchfield for like 14.95 a pair but I dont know if Im willing to waste that on bulbs that may look the same as $2.99 ones.

to be honest with you...I paid the led 4.99 and the normal 0.99

the 0.99 looks way much better!!

how come no one has tried just painting the stock bulbs yet??? they sell the paint at auto stores I thought??? and people on here know where to get the paint.. I know VizaX does.. he painted his brake lights with some kinda paint that looks really nice, and has held up well...

eh... never mind man... I went and actually looked at the dome light.... the problem isnt your bulbs.. its that you'll never get colored light through that casing.... so I'd work on finding something to do with that case..... And you should also try changing out the floor lights too... that might help(you know the ones under the driver/passenger dash). That might help to give it more color..?..

Yeah, instead of placing neon under the dash, I placed some red LEDS (I want red, because I find it very sweet with all the rest of the speedo, tach light at night)

The effect is very sweet. And i went for the dome light...but I guess I will leave that *&?%$# dome light stock!!

It's hard to get a power, nice looking red bulb...red bulb are usualy give poor light.

true.. in that small of a size especially..... it might not look very clean, but you could always use brighter normal colored bulbs and paint the cover.. I dont know about that though... cause it could look pretty ricey....but its up to you..

haha... as long as you dont do that .. then you should be allright
