i have yet to find a girl that could stand my car, let alone be INTO cars. Everyone, without fail, complains about the exhaust being too loud, or the ''HUGE SUCKING SOUND LIKE A PLANE IS TAKING OFF" from the turbo/cai, or the reason im missing my front lower grill (fmic), that's a bad sound i think it broke (backfire or BOV), or why i wash it all the time, or why the hell i have those useless gauges... It's unbelievable. They usually say 'oh, it looks nice' but that's about all i get. I hate it; i spend SO much time and SO much money on this and i genuinely love this thing but get no gratitude. oh and mom is the best... "what are you doing now? oh god... don't **** up your car. just stop." haha. zoom-zoom.

I hear ya. Not everyone is into cars. I am....not so much working on them. But racing them. Modding them, and looking at them.

I was going to go to school to work on cars....but thought the constant use for a stool to see into the engine bay would get annoying.

ooooo i should try that, my mom got sulky when the people called my house about a suspicious use of my debit card and i told her i bought ur axle back, and she got mad at me for spending all their money when it is my money in my checking account, then i called the debit card people and they said the suspicious thing wasnt the axleback at all but the stupid $15 for lug nut locky things and a one month rapidshare account that i bought

Give the wife/gf one special day a week to make here happy Then give the weekend to your car. Best times to work on the car imo is right after sunrise on weekends when most people would be sleeping really quite (as long as your not using power tools you'll be fine). hard to get up but it's worth the time you get with your car.

my mom always complains about me and my car problems. its under control. but ive had this rx7 for about 5 months and with the money i managed to scrunge ive spent $2k into her. and i dont have any income cus of school. so thats saying something. not stealing or like that, selling things i owned for side money.

I'm currently trying to convince my boyfriend to buy the parts for the race car that we need, and I convinced him to buy the race car (RX7) in the first place. He drives an RX8, I have an MSP. I'm all for the car stuff, I do a big chunk of the work on the race car as it is.
