mine does the moan thing from time to time.no clue wut it is.it was getting really loud and then i just tightend the hoses and the noise level went down.i think its just extra air getting in if you have any open spots where your coupling hoses are.

yea mine makes all kindsa weird noises too.
+1, every once in while...yesterday actually it was really pissing me off.

You know what else sucks? When you move it by accident and dont center it right in the hole or tighten the mount enough, and when the motor rocks it rattles around sounding like s***. Man that noise is horrible...lol

Mine didnt do it till yesterday. Now at times it sounds like the wind blowing through a half closed windo or crack in a door. Ithink its because I plugged the intake when i put on my BOV so now instead of the air moving it makes a sound like your blowing across a coke bottle. I bet thats what it is.

The moan you guys are speaking of is most likely caused by a loose or crimped coupler on the turbo to intake connection. The O.D. of the injen intake is slightly smaller than the O.D. of the turbo inlet. This can cause the coupler to crimp up under the clamp. This allows some unmetered air to enter the system and cause the moan in the process. This problem can also lead to a lean condition which may throw a CEL.

anybody out there have a loose turbo to injen connection???
I cranked mine down on a hoist so I don't think that is it.
My top tank to turbo connection was loose though.
she moan is over. no more sex for me!!!!!

(omg)
