The car you're looking at is a regular 323 (BG). The BG GTX/GTR never made it to the US. There's the BF GTX though (previous generation, 88-89 year models), with a 1.6L turbo engine producing a whopping 132hp.nocar said:1992 MAZDA 323, 5 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION
This is all i know about the car, someone is selling it locally, im trying to figure out if its the awd turbo model or just fwd no turbo. I might want to go pick it up today.

If you Buy it. Make an easy turbo car. Get a single over head 1.8 BP motor. its 8.25 to 1 ratio. Than get a 16 valve dual over head cam head slap on the bottom end. now you have 8.48 to 1 ratio. Now in a make believe if the engine and head were new you can boost 20psi......
Thats how I made my 1991 ford escort gt turbo project car do 11 second 1/4 mile times.
My NA project I decked the head had beefy cams and ran 13.8 1/4 times on stock ecu..
Both were stock ECU to be excat...

No.
