Although I had a VIS OEM hood that didn't fit my Pro all that well and would never buy another VIS product, I can't blame all that much on the hood in your pics above.

That car looks like it has seen better days and that there are a few panels misaligned. I would suspect an CF hood probably wouldn't fit that car very well.

i dont know what hood he has .. maybe its from a 99c store..
Look at the rest of the car. I have a feeling the hood isn't fitting right because this guy ****** something up on his car.

man that hood is horrible, my hood just has a small gap in the front but nothing bad, if i had hood pins it would be flush, but its like 1/4 inch high

looking at those pictures unless he stated the bad fit looks like he did it on purpose.

it was a fad a while ago for the "drift" look to raise up the back of the hood an inch or so for cooling.

i dont know the guy, it just happened that it was parked next to my car.. and i was like if this is the VIS fit everybodys complaining, im never gonna buy one.
i figured it would be vis cuz it has the side vents too .

some more pics of this "drifter"

"drifter" style or not, that is one F'ed up hood, and one riced out car. Blah!!

im gonna send some pix to matthew, to add to his riced out cars album on cardomain

^^nah im sure they make stick shifts..
^^hey do u wanna trade ur FI hood with his ? its a drifter hood...

That's what I was thinking too. A lot of guys did that for air flow- same goal as removing the weatherstripping I taught you all to do lol.. I have a VIS hood on my FD and the fit is very nice.
