Does anyone like Country music besides me?

I don't like country very much. However, after a few drinks(not many), I'll sit and listen to it. Like I said, I don't like it, but don't hate it. I'd listen to country any day over rap/hiphop or pop. Don't know much about counrty though, just that what they say is kinda true(mostly)

i wanted garth brooks like no other when i was little...

i dont listen to country too much anymore...used to be all i listened to though...all of my friends used to make fun of me for listening to it...i dont really like too much of the stuff that's been coming out in the past few years...but the music from my childhood, oh yeah, good stuff.

Johnny Cash...that is about the only country I can handle. I have his box set and it is amazing. Other than that Metal all the way and I'm not talking about Linkin Park...just download "More of Myself to Kill" by Between the Buried and Me. NC metal is amazing.

I like alt. country. Bands like clem snide, uncle tupelo etc.

There's a really good band from St. Louis called nadine. Check it at: www.nadinemusic.com

I highly recommend "blacklisted" by Neko Case.

As for real country music, I like cash and willie. I also like the star room boys.

Most music that's being passed as country these days is nothing more than bad pop music.

Saw George Strait last night here in STL. Wow what a great concert...he had Kelly Coffee open with Dirks Bently. If you ever get the chance to hear this guy live do it. This guy live is CD quality thats how good he sounds.

hey i don't hate it , i can listen to some of it , but the really depressing stuff gets to me lol. But I can handle it for a while but then its time for something different. I don't really like one kind of music more than the other ,it goes in cycles.
