Are rims covered under the standard waranty? I bent one of my wheels and I'd rather not pay to replace it.

Thanks for your help.......

I highly doubt it. Did you bend one of your rims by hitting a curb or a pothole or something?

Im pretty sure the only way warranty would cover it, is if there is a defect in the rim itself.

No... my brother slid and nailed a curb with his MS3 this winter (winter rims, with winter rubber). The was car starting to vibrate at around 30mph, so he took it to Mazda and had them check the alignment. Turned out it was the rim being bent, and they told us it wouldn't be covered... even it were the stock rims....

yea they defin wont.. wear and tear on a vehicle is your cost.. escpecially if u hit something

If you bought the extended warranty and you hit a pot-whole..THEN you will get it replaced. I think it is their full service 80,000 or 100,000 mile warranty, I don't fully remember. But I do remember him saying to tell them it was a pot-whole not a curb that you hit.

yep with mazda certified bumper-to-bumper. mine's up to 100k.

Warranties don't cover road hazards on wheels, just tires. I know from experience. Sorry man.

Stupidity and lack of common sense don't show up in the owner's manual.

May I suggest the marketplace here, or a wheel vendor like finish line wheels?

thats like saying i got a dent in my fender, will mazda fix my fender under warranty? hahahaha

This ansered my question so Thanks TXSpeed6.

Ok, that was unnecessary. My comment was hardly rude, but your reply was out of line.

Whatever, I stand by my comment. You drew first blood by saying "stupidity and lack of common sense dose'nt show up in the owners manuel" you giving me and infraction is the act of a coward. Way to abuse your power dude. Good Job!
