about these two wires behind the plastic cover of the sideveiw mirror?(fr inside)
Its gry&yellow.

I believe an earlier post confirmed those were for the factory tweeters you can buy and install yourself. I don't think it was for installing heating mirrors for the outside.

I would like to install heated mirrors on my car, but no one has confirmed where the power comes from to heat the mirrors.

thanks for the quick reply. I'm just trying to hook up these aftermarket mirrors from Speedline. The instruction that they gave is not very helpful!

Tweeter wires as I have installed tweeters in that place eh... why change mirros BTW

There are 2 wires for the heated mirrors but you need the correct connector to interface with the connector in the car.

You can buy Mazda Mirror assembly which comes with color keyed mirror covers and also heated mirror and correct connector FYI.

zoom5zoom - can you share some info on the tweeters you added - how to get the trim off, are your tweeters flush or surface mount, what brand/model did you go with, and are there any restrictions when choosing which tweeter. I knew that the Sport was lacking those two tweeters, but did not know the wiring was still there - cool! thanks.

Thanks a lot Rob.

Has anyone installed tweeters from Crutchfield? I don't mind cutting a hole in the sail panel AS LONG AS there is enough depth to allow flush mount and fit excess wires and crossover in there. IMHO, I'd rather put in a known quality name (Polk, Infinity, etc) for less money than the generic? Mazda tweeter with new sail panel (not even clear if I can get yet) for more $$. Any personal feedback/experience with non-Mazda tweets?
Dave
