I personally never autocrossed before. I have attended 3 sessions in the past, sitting in 2 of them with my friend competing. I am actually interested in participating and may look to try it out this year or next year. But that means I probably need to invest in an extra set of tires. I'm so broke now.

Alright. Another debate: should I get the cf mazdaspeed spoiler add on piece?

i think that add on looks ok. but idk. it would look good on your car, but i also think that all white and no cf would be clean but it will look awesome either way.

and how much tread do you have on your tires? you can run an event or 2 no problem. i autocross on my street tires.

Do it for fun. Don't go out and buy s*** just to try to compete with people the first time out. That's what so many people I've seen are doing. They'll get a bug up their ass to start doing a motorsports event, buy a bunch of s*** to support it, and then realize "Oh... so... I actually need experience to do well against these people that do it at least twice a month?"

Yeah... My opinion... get out there, learn to run with what you have. If you can do well on crap tires, you'll do better when you get good tires.
