Ditch that Kenwood head unit...

I don't really know if thats a raping, cause I've seen them new going for like $600-700, and thats american...but maybe I saw wrong, otherwise, $400 sounds right, trust me...unless you're seeling to a crowd that thinks it's stolen, in which case, go for $200

if you look in best buy/circuit city the kenwood still sales for 329, i took him there and showed him and since he is paying it out i charged him 400

my kenwood unit is certainly not the best I've ever owned... this thing skips like crazy on CD's, though the mp3 playback it doesnt. I much prefered the old Eclipse and Premier units I've had in the past.

Word. Clarion actually has a worse reputation here than kenwood.

The kenwood deck is actually a good deck. I despise Alpine because they all look like s***, IMO and the Eclipse look nicer but the top cd/tuner models do not support mp3 formats.

And post moved to Car Audio.

ROFL. Kenwood is nowhere near the best. I would say eclipse is the best.. followed by alpine and possibly clarion.

Alpine USED to be one of the best, now they are just like all the rest. I would put Clarion way below Kenwood and JVC (Juicy Vaginal Cheese) WAY below all of these.

The kenwood in the MSP is a problematic unit. Beyond that...it does skip a ho on payday. Alpine, Eclipse, and Pioneer/Premier make much better units for the money. The newer Kenwoods are getting more reliable, but I'd still take one of those other three before Kenwood. I'd take Kenwood before Panasonic, Clarion (most of theirs anyway), Sony, or JVC.

first thing i did when i bought my msp. i took out the kewood and sold it. put in my alpine from my previous car. best thing i could have done. i like kenwood alot but i didnt like its controls and the alpine is better for me.
